Grand Canyon South Rim to North Rim to South Rim (R2R2R)  10.15.07-10.16.07 : We hiked from the South Rim to the North Rim on October 15, 2007 and then back to the South Rim from the North Rim on October 16, 2007.  45 miles with about 17,000 feet elevation gain - a tough but beautiful trip.

Humphreys Peak (12633') - Highpoint of Arizona, 10.13.07 : A day hike to Mount Humphreys and fall colors in the Kachina Peaks Wilderness Area of the San Francisco Mountains - 10.13.07.  The hike is about 10 miles round-trip with 3200 feet gain.

Grand Canyon Day Hike 4/21/07 : A day hike down the South Kaibab Trail and up the Bright Angel Trail.  Started down the South Kaibab Trail at 6:45 am and reached the top of the Bright Angel Trail at 2:15 pm.  A long day - about 16 miles round trip with 6100 feet gain counting all the ups and downs along the way.
