Mount Dana (13057') 7.4.08
After my overnight trip to Mount Lyell, I was pretty tired but I had heard Mount Dana was an easy hike and I was right there; so I headed up the hill toward Dana on July 4, 2008. There's a use trail that starts out near the Tioga Pass entrance station to Yosemite and takes you up the hill as you get closer to the top the use trail becomes many use trails but they all lead to the top. The flowers were pretty along the hike and the view was nice from Mount Dana. A 6.6 mile round trip hike with 3200' elevation gain - the hike took 5.5 hours on tired legs.
