A day hike on 5/6/06 along the Desert Divide with side trips to Antsell Rock and Apache Peak.

KathyWing > Antsell Rock from the North along the Sam Fink Trail. I followed the PCT north to the saddle at 7200 feet north of Antsell Rock and then took the ridge (old Sam Fink Trail) south to the summit.
KathyWing > Getting closer to Antsell Rock - it was slow going along the ridge - either on the ridge or bushwacking on the west side of the ridge. The Sam Fink Trail is very overgrown.
KathyWing > I finally get to the Class 3 Crack.
KathyWing > I'm up the crack and the gully and almost on the summit - after the crack you traverse over to a gully and then head up the gully to this easy terrain near the summit.
