This was a nice short hike along the PCT. I parked at the picnic area at Pioneer Mail and hikes south to Garnet Peak, then I turned around and hike north past Pioneer Mail to Garnet Mountain before heading back (south) to my truck. A nice mile hike with 1600' gain/loss. The view is just wonderful along this hike - I thought it wouldn't be a really pretty hike because of how close it is to the road, but I was wrong.
