Anona Lake

This is about where I decide to go up on the ridge instead of going down and across to the saddle.

The ridge looks easy from here, but it wasn't. It would probably be easier if I did it again because I would know where to stay on top and where to drop off it and work around tougher spots.

The chute I finally dropped of the ridge from. I was planning on just dropping off this and getting back on again on the other side of it, but then I ended up in the boulders when I saw what looked like a better place to get back up on the ridge down lower - I gave up about here.

Heading back down - thats the ridge I had been up on or adjacent to.

Now you can get a look at the saddle I dropped off. I should have just crossed the saddle and went back up on the ridge instead of dropping down lower and getting caught up in the rocks again.

Almost back to the trailhead - made it back to the truck just as it got dark.
