Occidental Peak from Chantry Flat 1.25.15

I've been trying to avoid taking the shortest route to the summit of a peak so that I'll get a better workout. For Occidental Peak, I started at Chantry Flat and went up to near Mount Wilson and then on to Occidental Peak before returning the same way. Chantry Flat was crowded; so I parked 0.80 mile down the road. The hike ended up being 19 miles with about 5000' elevation gain. A nice hike
